Question 1

What does AlexRia Trading International actually do?

Accepted Answer

We import, source and trade vehicles, motor bikes and electric vehicles for buyers in Sri Lanka. That covers locating a vehicle overseas, bidding or negotiating on your behalf, arranging shipping and insurance, completing customs clearance and delivering the vehicle with full documentation.

Question 2

How long does an import take?

Accepted Answer

Typical lead time is eight to twelve weeks from confirmation to delivery, depending on the source country, shipping schedule and clearance. We confirm an indicative timeline in writing with your quotation and update you at every stage.

Question 3

Is the quoted price the final price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our quotation is a landed-cost figure covering the vehicle, freight, marine insurance, duty and clearance. Once you confirm, that figure does not change unless you request a change of specification.

Question 4

How do you verify vehicle condition?

Accepted Answer

Every vehicle is supported by an auction sheet or an independent pre-shipment inspection report. For electric vehicles we also supply a battery state-of-health certificate. You see this evidence before committing.

Question 5

Can I request a specific vehicle that is not listed?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Most of our business is sourcing to order. Submit a sourcing request with your preferred make, model, year range, colour and budget, and we will present matching units from our network.

Question 6

Do you work with fleet and corporate buyers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We handle multi-unit procurement with consolidated shipping and a single landed-cost quotation, along with the structured documentation corporate approval processes require.

Question 7

What payment terms do you offer?

Accepted Answer

A confirmation deposit secures the vehicle, with the balance payable at agreed milestones before delivery. Exact terms are set out in your written quotation.

Question 8

Which countries do you source from?

Accepted Answer

Primarily Japan, with additional sourcing routes through the United Kingdom and Singapore depending on the model and specification you require.
